What a stonking good riff! This gives us all a chance to put our heads down and ROCK!
A lovely orchestral middle section, and rousing guitar solo!
This song is the human races’ rallying call to fight for survival, as the Atlantean war machines appear from beneath the sea.
Uncomplicated – easy to listen to and enjoy.
A real full on rocker, with an intricate break at the end of each verse. Great solo from the “Prince of Darkness”, with a stonking, powerful outro.
Ferret deployed down GBM’s punts for the scream at the end!
Again we kept this very literal, perhaps too much for my liking but that is a personal thing for me. I guess the narrative lends itself to this type of writing.
The melody is again easy to sing along with and cool straight forward riff to balance it all up.
When we go to the bridge section Nialls guitar melody knocks me over, its beautiful and emotional, its classic Pallas with a heavier leather jacket on.
Although this seems like a straight forward rock track, it is for me, the hardest to play. I really enjoyed doing the E-Bow guitar parts
Could it really be that we all face the end of the world
The Human race no more
Are we ready to sit back and wait
For one mad man to seal the fate no more
Our families are paralysed with fear
Men of the world our time is near
As all we are comes to this final hour
We’ll fight for our children
That they might survive
Is there any kind of sacrifice
That you’d accept to pay the price to survive
Is there anything you’d contemplate
To change your mind about the fate of mankind
Massive war machines are moving in
This is a war we cannot win
And as humanity makes the final stand
We’ll fight for our children that they might survive
We must fight survive
Side by side
We must fight
Fight to survive
We must fight
