Bandcamp. If you've heard of it you'll know why we are using it! If you've not heard of it you'll thank us for telling you!

Can you imagine a website where bands can upload full resolution audio files (.aiff) and you can chose what type of format your download is, and there's a minimum of third party overheads reducing the band's income.

Imagine no more because that's what Bandcamp is. By starting with the highest possible quality source, they’re able to convert our tracks into a bunch of different format and quality combinations for you to listen to, including MP3 (320, VBR V0), Ogg Vorbis, Apple Lossless, FLAC and AAC (aka .m4a or iTunes store format)

You can see why we have chosen bandcamp as our supply partner for our downloads.

Having said that In the days of our demo recordings the facilities available to up-coming bands were rather basic compared to this century!

The demo tracks were mostly recorded on a cassette based "portastudio" or in some cases directly off the sound desk at gigs but this also imbues the tracks with a certain 'patina', which given their 30+ years age is quite fitting, so please understand that these are not modern recording studio quality. We're currently leaving the tracks open for streaming so you can hear what you are getting before buying!

alantdomI love this. Dark, violent and distinctly nasty. It's a bit more spiky than our usual fare, but perhaps a taste of other things to come. Lyrically it's a tale of the invisible men who seem to run the world - not always with our best interests at heart..

graemeNow Mr Wolfe is not a nice chap massively wealthy ,a ruthless gambler who plays with people as chips. Are you a lamb or a wolf? This was Ron's other main piece for the album. He wrote that wonderful piano line on the intro..love the menacing feel. Of course I couldnt resist the challenge of using it as a bass line....."Fool of a Took!!!" Rule no 2. Dont adapt keyboard sequences as bass parts!! The fingers on my left hand now have muscles like Popeyes arms. In the studio I could record the song in segments but live...Oh Jooly dee ..lets wait and see. I love the imagery of the lyric, and am very pleased with a rather hooky chorus. Look out for the "Shepherds Pie" remix of this on the bonus disk. It kicks Ass.!

nialltdomI love this. Dark, violent and distinctly nasty. It’s another one of Ron's tunes. I will look forward to seeing Graeme doing this live...!!! I really enjoyed doing the guitar solo. It’s really quite different for me and sounds a bit punk.

colintdomKind of a bit like Muse, quite a modern thing for us......... Straight forward basic rock drum part, kicking arse. Lots of tom fills locked into the keyboard and Bass parts.

rontdomThis is my other main contribution. It started life with the working title ‘The Silent Witness’. I’d like to think I wasn’t influenced at all by Muse, but I’d only just recently begun my love affair with their music. I think I prefer the less ‘gothic’ version on the second disk – its a little closer to where I hoped it would end up

He is the wolf in the black limousine
You won't see his face in "Hello" magazine
He rules his kingdom og gain from a tower with no name
Asset strip and steal the prize
This is his game

The lambs lie sleeping in the pasture
The wolves are creeping ever closer
While life just passes them by

He owns the ground and he rents out the sky
Nations fall to make his market share rise
Bank rolls the yen as he's pounding the dollar
The bears are dancing to his tune
The bulls they run for cover

The lambs lie sleeping in the pasture
The wolves are creeping ever closer
While life just passes them by

Watch the way the numbers dance
Is it magic? Is it chance?
Watch the way the numbers crunch
He ruins lives whilst doing lunch

Listen to the punters squeal
The wolf has clinched another deal
The lambs are sleeping in their pasture
He's making money ever faster

The lambs lie bleeding in the pasture
The wolves are feeding ever faster
And life has passed and gone by
